Group Reservations Agent

Nestled within Adelaide Oval, we deliver personalised, premium hospitality with heart and we're looking for a Group Reservations Agent who shares that passion. If you're an experienced Reservations Agent who loves organisation, thrives on collaboration and enjoys being the calm in the glorious chaos of group bookings, this could be your next perfect move.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Managing group reservations (10+ rooms) from confirmation through to post‐stay follow‐up
* Coordinating room blocks, rooming lists, rates and inventory in Opera Cloud
* Acting as the main point of contact for group clients, travel agents and internal teams
* Partnering with Sales, Events, Front Office and Operations to deliver seamless group stays
* Managing deposits, payments and contracted booking terms
* Identifying upsell opportunities to enhance the guest experience
* Preparing group run sheets, reports and event documentation
* Supporting general reservations operations during peak periods
What You'll Bring to the Role:
* Previous experience in hotel reservations, ideally with group booking experience
* A genuine passion for exceptional guest service and relationship building
* Strong organisational skills and immaculate attention to detail
* Confident, professional communication skills (written, verbal and phone)
* Experience using Opera Cloud PMS and Microsoft Office
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with the ability to adapt quickly
* A collaborative approach and willingness to step in where needed
