About the role
The Executive Director, Knowledge and Information Management reports to the Deputy Director General Corporate Services and leads a broad remit of information management encompassing ICT systems and services all aspects of business intelligence and information management, and legislative and business process management. All these elements have a direct impact on the provision of services provided by the Department and the role has considerable influence on the delivery of integrated and optimised operational services, and support for technology as an enabler for business process and service improvement throughout the Department.
The successful applicant will assume a pivotal role in providing leadership and exhibit a personal commitment to high quality customer service, teamwork, equity, integrity and personal learning. The ability to recognise opportunities to enhance service delivery and capitalise on these through the development and implementation of effective change strategies is highly sought, as is the ability to ensure that departmental resources including financial, physical, technological and information requirements are available to maintain a high-quality service delivery.
