Applications are sought from suitable candidates wanting to work as an Assistant in Nursing as part of our dynamic nursing team.
As an Assistant in Nursing, your responsibilities will include:
* Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
* Work as part of the healthcare team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
* Assess patients using therapeutic skills
* Provide recommendations to specialist treatment programs based on their diagnosis
* Hold a Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer, or similar
* Excellent ability to plan and prioritize work
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
* Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing is desired
