Albatrans is seeking an experienced Export and Import Operator to join our dynamic team in Mascot, NSW office. This full-time role is responsible for managing the smooth and efficient import and export of freight and cargo on behalf of our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate all aspects of import and export operations including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics
* Liaise with clients, shipping lines, airlines, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of cargo
* Manage inventory and tracking of freight movements
* Prepare and process all necessary documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations
* Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain
* Maintain detailed records and provide reporting on all freight activities
* Assist with other administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
* 1-2 years' experience in a freight forwarding or logistics role
* Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficient in using logistics and freight management software
* Keen eye for detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
* Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach
* Familiarity with the Freight/Cargo Forwarding industry and current market trends
* Be able to work as part of the team
