Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team on the Ceres project in Karratha, reporting to the Senior Project Manager. Key responsibilities include coordinating design, procurement, and construction elements of the Material Handling Package.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' postgraduate engineering experience in engineering/construction environments and good knowledge of Australian codes and standards.
* Determining suitable site layout
* Providing engineering input for design modelling of civil roads, drainage, and siteworks
* Reviewing geotechnical reports
* Reviewing civil drawings and 3D models
* Determining loads and load combinations
* Performing soil-structure interaction analysis
* Designing simple foundations, slabs on ground, and retaining structures
