Position Available: Trade Assistant
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to support our team of skilled technicians. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and installation processes.
What We Require:
* Assist technicians with the repair, and maintenance of industrial roller doors, shutters, automatic doors, and gate operating equipment.
* Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for jobs.
* Perform basic maintenance tasks and operate various hand and power tools.
* Keep work areas clean and organized, including the workshop and service vehicles.
* Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
* Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Complete paperwork and documentation as required.
* Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.

What you need:
* White Card (Construction)
* Full unrestricted Australian working rights
* Ability to pass criminal checks for correctional centres
* Valid QLD driver's licence (HR/forklift/scissor-lift an advantage)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Understand & comply with Workplace Health & Safety Policies
* Able to work under pressure and adapt to change
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
* Strong relationship building ability
* Ability to work overtime regularly
* Must be available for after-hours "on-call" service including weekends (on rotation every 7-8 weeks)
