2025 was a huge year for Trade Risk.
We celebrated our 15-year anniversary and were named the best mid-sized brokerage in Australia for the second year in a row.
In 2026 we're striving for more, and we need another insurance broker to join our team.
Trade Risk specialises in business insurance for SME clients in the construction industry – primarily tradies.
We have a strong focus on tech along with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Who we're looking for
Our two newest brokers were promoted internally, and we're now looking to add some external experience to our team.
We are open to brokers of varying levels of experience and will create a remuneration package and a portfolio of clients to match your level.
At a minimum we are looking for someone with no less than 12 months experience working as a broker, preferably with SME clients.
You will have your Tier 1 qualification as a minimum, and we will provide funding to complete your diploma during your employment.
The role is fulltime office-based, and whilst we are flexible around family and personal commitments, ideally you will be someone who enjoys being part of a team environment.
About the role
The role is typical of an insurance broker looking after a portfolio of SME clients.
You will be responsible for:
* Quoting new business
* Remarketing renewals
* Building relationships with new and existing clients
* Liaising with insurers and other industry partners
Most of our client interactions are via phone and email, so you'll need to have strong telephone and written communication skills.
We're not a business that micro-manages, so you'll need to have strong time management skills and be highly self-motivated.
Whilst we are a relatively high-volume brokerage, we have a fantastic CRM and a range of automations to help you keep on top of your portfolio.

Salary
We have listed a wide salary range on this ad, as we are open to candidates of varying levels of experience.
We also have a quarterly incentive scheme, which can further increase the overall remuneration.
The salary range listed is exclusive of superannuation.
