Are you ready to take on a brand-new role and make it your own? We are thrilled to introduce a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Store Coordinator to take charge of the operational management of the general stores' function for Health Sciences. As a crucial part of our team, you will be responsible for efficiently ordering, receiving, and managing consumables for various activities across the Faculty of Health Sciences.
**In this role, you will**
- Develop, implement and maintain inventory management process and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Manage purchasing of consumable and equipment and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
- Manage procurement and inventory processes and procedures across all locations to ensure Health Technology team needs are met.
- Plan, manage and assure the acquisition, supply, warehousing, maintenance and repair of specialist equipment and systems.
- Develop strong relationships across all simulation areas and with supply partners.
- Liaise and work collaboratively with discipline areas to understand and determine their product and service needs.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring most favourable price and terms are obtained, goods are available at the required time and place, and that they meet quality requirements and specifications.
- Supervise and manage Store staff.
- Ensure University procurement procedures and policies are adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
- Undertake environmental scanning, in consultation with discipline areas to identify emerging issues, trends and best practice to logístically support simulation operations.
- Undertake other activities which the incumbent might reasonably be expected to do, and which are consistent with the accountabilities and responsibilities as listed above.
**We are looking for someone with**
- Relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience and specialist expertise in purchasing and supply chain management; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and build rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage supporting staff.
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with limited direction as well as effectively as a team member.
