The role
We are currently looking for someone preferably based in Wagga to do a Linehaul Shuttle Run Wagga Sydney.
Are you an experienced Interstate Truck Driver with a Multi-Combination (MC) license? Join the team at Ron Crouch Transport as an Interstate Driver and take on a pivotal role in our reliable and growing road transport operations across Australia. This full-time position is based in our Laverton, VIC location but we are open to other big city locations as well.
What you'll be doing
* End to end load-restraint, hooking and unhooking trailers.
* Safely operate a range of heavy vehicles including semi-trailers and B-doubles to transport goods interstate
* Adhere to all road rules, OH&S and fatigue management regulations
* Maintain accurate vehicle logs and documentation
* Effectively communicate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
* Undertake routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance as required
* Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients as needed
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a heavy vehicle interstate truck driver
* MC (Multipurpose Combination) driver's license
* Basic fatigue management accreditation
* Dangerous Goods License (Desirable)
* Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
