The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead a high-impact national regulator with a mandate to uplift professional standards across Australia?
As Executive Director of the Professional Standards Authority, you'll operate as a CEO—driving strategic reform, leading cultural transformation, and ensuring regulatory excellence. You'll work closely with boards, Ministers, and industry leaders to advance professional regulation and protect consumers of professional services.
This is your chance to lead a multi-jurisdictional agency with national reach, delivering thought leadership, governance innovation, and operational excellence.

Set direction and deliver on legislative and regulatory mandates.
* Governance & Boards:
Report to and advise boards and Ministers across jurisdictions.
* Cultural Uplift:
Lead transformation and build a high-performing, values-driven team.
* Legal & Regulatory Expertise:
Apply deep knowledge of professional standards legislation.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
Influence policy and build partnerships across government and industry.
The Leader We're Seeking
You're a senior executive with legal qualifications (or comparable qualification and experience), regulatory experience, and a strong track record in hands-on governance and cultural reform. You bring clarity, credibility, and collaboration to complex environments—and you're ready to lead from the front.
