Key responsibilitiesExecute and monitor the Supply strategic plan in relation to volumes, specifications, quality, assured supply, regional risk management, and regional supply to suit regional orders, stock management, and minimization of freight costsWork closely and manage relationships with our strategic supply partnersPlans manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of products needed to meet the category DIFOT targetsWork directly with the sales team to determine the most cost-effective distribution solution to customers.Monitor and communicate stock levels internally to ensure rotation and product qualityResearch and provide recommendations in relation to new/potential product lines or product line extensions.Support the Current Product Development team to identify suitable products and ensure successful launches.Manage seed/breeding companies and nurseries to ensure appropriate technical support is provided to selected growers and approved nurseries and continually improve quality on farm and GIFOTQ (Grown in Full on Time with Quality)Ensure efficient allocation and weekly balancing of returnable packagingEssential requirementsExperience in a similar role in fresh produce is essentialSolid experience dealing and maintaining relationships with 3rd party growersBusiness planning skills and execution capabilities to deliver customer expectations and specificationsExcellent communication and presentation skills;Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skillsA self-starter who is a team player; pro-active, persuasive, and flexible attitudeTertiary qualifications in agriculture, horticulture, or related discipline; preferred but not required.Proficient computer skills in MS Office, especially ExcelAbility to travel as requiredAdditional informationSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions: Are you legally entitled to work in Australia?
