About The Role
BRG is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer – Level 3 to support the Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Unit (JEWOSU) within EWIS Joint & Air SPO.
This role supports the acquisition and through-life sustainment of Joint and Air Electronic Warfare capabilities used by the Australian Defence Force. The successful candidate will contribute across the full product lifecycle — from concept and acquisition through to introduction into service and sustainment — ensuring systems are supportable, compliant and operationally effective.

Clearance: Minimum NV1 (must be willing to uplift to NV2 upon engagement)
ITAR Requirement: Yes – access to US Export Controlled Materiel
Eligibility: Candidates must not have worked full-time for Defence (ADF SERCAT 6 or 7, or APS) within the 12 months prior to commencing as an Above-the-Line contractor
Duties & Responsibilities
The ILS Officer (Level 3) will be responsible for delivering integrated logistics outcomes across acquisition and sustainment activities, including:
Updating and maintaining ILS Plans Reviewing CDRLs and ILS documentation Developing Transition Plans Reviewing Prime Contractor Data Item Deliverables Conducting facilities reviews and volumetric assessments Undertaking support systems analysis (sparing and maintenance evaluations) Contributing to FIC (ILS) inputs to the Capability Life Cycle process Supporting business case development, costing and procurement activities Drafting briefs, reports and correspondence relating to logistics management Providing training on Supply Chain Management tools (e.g. MILIS, ERP) Ensuring compliance with LMSM and Defence Technical Regulation requirements Coordinating warehousing and transportation with OEM suppliers and Defence distribution services Managing codification and cataloguing of deployed ICT assets Maintaining asset inventory accuracy and approving asset transfers/procurement Overseeing sanitisation and disposal of ICT assets Updating CMDB and asset management systems Supporting secure handling and distribution of classified material Applying Supportability Analysis (LORA, Spares Analysis, Maintenance Evaluation) Supporting risk management and basic Life Cycle Cost modelling activities
To be Successful, You Will Need
3–5+ years experience in Integrated Logistics Support or Logistics Engineering Demonstrated experience with Defence inventory and supply systems (MILIS, ERP) Experience developing ILS documentation (ILS Plans, Concepts, Instructions) Understanding of ILS Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCCs) Experience operating within Defence acquisition project environments Exposure to ASDEFCON templates (desirable) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work under broad direction and influence project outcomes Experience working within team-based delivery environments Familiarity with Export Controls (desirable) Defence experience (Uniformed, APS or Contractor) highly regarded
