KAEFER Integrated Services is currently recruiting Painter Blasters to join our team supporting ongoing maintenance works at Hay Point Trestles. You will be working in a heavy industrial coal handling environment, supporting operational reliability across conveyors, ship loaders and fixed plant infrastructure.
ABOUT THE JOB
Key Responsibilities
* Abrasive blasting of structural steel and infrastructure
* Application of industrial protective coating systems
* Surface preparation including grinding and cleaning
* Mixing and application of coatings to specification
* Maintaining coating quality standards
* Working safely at heights and over water
* Following site procedures and permit systems
ABOUT YOU
* White Card
* Working at Heights
* Section 6/Coal Board Medical
* Working at Heights (within 2 years)
* Confined Space (within 2 years)
* Standard 11/Conduct Local Risk Control
* Current Driver’s Licence

* Casual position - 5 days on /2 days off roster Monday to Friday
* Home every night (must be local to Mackay)
