Responsibilities
Working closely with our director and accounting team, you will see yourself:
* Manage Client Portfolio: Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients
* Deliver Compliance & Advisory: Oversee the delivery of all business compliance and provide high-value tax and financial advice
* Lead & Review: Manage and review the work of intermediate team members to ensure quality and accuracy before sign-off
* Drive Advisory Projects: Engage in complex, project-based work to deliver business and tax advisory solutions to clients
* Oversee Billing & Workflow: Prepare client billings for your own work and manage multiple priorities to meet critical deadlines
* Support Team Development: Contribute to the growth and development of the team, assisting with training and mentorship
Requirements
* Experienced Professional: Minimum 5+ years at a senior level with strong Australian Accounting and Taxation skills
* Review-Ready: Proven experience reviewing tax and compliance work prepared by others prior to sign-off
* Excellent Communicator: A natural conversationalist with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to articulate thoughts clearly to clients and teams
* Client-Centric & Advisory-Minded: Genuinely enjoys understanding client needs, creating solutions, and tackling complex project-based advisory work
* Organised & Reliable: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet critical deadlines, and handle client engagements with a common-sense approach
* Detail-Oriented: Committed to doing things 100% correctly with a strong eye for detail
