Each campus is managed by a Head of Campus, with the College Principal overseeing strategic direction. It comprises five First Nations communities: Injinoo, Umagico, Bamaga, New Mapoon, and Seisia, each with distinct histories, languages, and traditions influenced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage.Bamaga, situated on the Jardine River, approximately 850 km northwest of Cairns by road, is considered the unofficial capital of the NPA. It is home to around 1,050 residents, over 80% of whom identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.Access is via road during the dry season and by air throughout the year.
