Join Lunar Outpost Oceania as an Electrical Engineering Intern to design and develop electrical systems for space robotics in Melbourne.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Contribute to PCB and circuit design.
- Support development of electrical hardware and systems.
- Assist with circuit card manufacturing and assemblies.
- Conduct hardware testing and qualification.
- Implement EMI/EMC considerations.
- Address radiation and environmental tolerancing requirements.
- Develop and apply upset and risk mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with RF/hardware and software engineers on design and validation.
- Prepare technical writing and documentation for firmware products.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all stages of work.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience studying an engineering discipline at university.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to integrate electrical systems with other components.
- Confidence to participate in design reviews and provide feedback and recommendations to improve system performance.
- Must be legally permitted to work in Australia.
- Preferred disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering.
Compensation & Advantages
- Compensation: $33 per hour
