With a portfolio of subregional, neighbourhood, and large format retail centres, they partner with landlords to unlock value through strategic tenant mix, lease optimisation, and hands on performance management.
The Opportunity This is a senior, strategic role suited to a seasoned retail property professional who wants to play a pivotal part in a growing business.
You'll manage a portfolio of quality retail assets while also helping to shape the company's Asset Management function - with a clear pathway into a Head of Asset Management role as the business continues to scale.
You'll work closely with the leadership team, provide input on new business pitches, and contribute to the development of new processes, people, and structures within the department.
Key Responsibilities Oversee day to day management of retail assets, including rent collection, lease administration, maintenance, and compliance.
Provide strategic input on repositioning, leasing strategy, and tenant mix to enhance asset value.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and key stakeholders.
Support onboarding of new managements, including audits and Property Tree setup.
Mentor and help structure the growing asset management team.
Attend client meetings and pitches to represent the AM division and demonstrate capability.
Coordinate capital works, compliance programs, and risk mitigation strategies.
Manage lease renewals, rental reviews, arrears, and dispute resolution.
Deliver exceptional tenant service and operational excellence across all assets.
About You You're an experienced retail property manager with hands on exposure to shopping centres, subregional, or neighbourhood retail assets.
You bring both the operational know how and the strategic mindset needed to maximise asset performance.
You'll bring: Minimum 5+ years in retail property or asset management Strong knowledge of lease structures, compliance, and trust accounting Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Proven ability to manage complex assets and drive commercial outcomes A proactive, accountable, and detail driven approach Confidence to contribute strategically and lead others as the team grows Why Apply?
