Independent Member of the Audit & Risk Committee
Expressions of interest are invited to fill two (2) vacancies for Independent Members on Coorong District Council’s Audit & Risk Committee, commencing September 2026. The committee’s primary objective is to assist Council in the responsible discharge of financial internal controls & reporting, business risk management and oversight of the external audit function.
The successful candidates will have relevant experience in financial management, risk management, internal and/or external audit or other disciplines as deemed relevant by Council.
The position attracts a sitting fee and travel allowance. The committee meets at least four times per year, and the term will be for a four (4) year period. Terms of Reference are available on Council’s website: www.coorong.sa.gov.au.
