About the Role:
The Sales Executive & Event Coordinator is responsible for driving conference and event revenue by managing the full sales cycle—from initial enquiry through to event execution. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, developing tailored proposals, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring seamless delivery in partnership with operations, kitchen, and venue leadership.
Success in this role relies on proactive communication, commercial awareness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences that align with the organisation's vision, purpose, and values.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage event enquiries, proposals, site inspections, and client relationships
* Drive proactive and reactive sales, identify new business opportunities, and meet revenue targets
* Coordinate all event logistics including run sheets, AV, suppliers, and handovers
* Lead event briefings with operations and kitchen to ensure seamless delivery
* Maintain accurate bookings, reports, invoicing, and iVvy data
* Conduct post‑event follow‑ups and gather client feedback
* Support marketing content, sales collateral updates, and brand‑aligned promotions
* Collaborate with all departments and participate in hotel duties as required
Skills & Experience
* Strong communication and client‑service skills
* Excellent organisation, planning, and time‑management
* Confident presenter with solid Microsoft Office proficiency
* Commercial awareness with ability to identify business opportunities
* Adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively with diverse teams
* High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
