The Role
Reporting to the Head of Real Estate, this hands-on and fast-paced role is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential sites and business acquisitions. Key responsibilities include:
* Identifying potential land, properties, and businesses for development or acquisition using online research and market insights.
* Building and maintaining a network of real estate agents, business brokers, and developers to generate quality leads.
* Conducting thorough market analysis including location, accessibility, competition, zoning, and demographics.
* Preparing detailed acquisition reports and recommendations for management review.
* Maintaining an accurate pipeline of opportunities aligned with the company's growth strategy.
* Representing the company professionally when engaging with external stakeholders.
About You
You are proactive, commercially astute, and thrive on uncovering new opportunities. You bring:
* Proven experience in commercial or industrial real estate, property sourcing, or business brokerage (retail experience advantageous).
* Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills.
* Excellent relationship management and communication abilities.
* Understanding of commercial/industrial property markets and development drivers.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver quality outcomes.
