Operations Technician Role
The role of the Operations Technician involves participating in all aspects of day-to-day operations, taking on responsibilities such as operating and adjusting equipment and systems that control the manufacturing process within an allocated team in the chemical treatment production area on a shift basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and control operations activities in the rostered responsibility area.
* Set up, operate equipment and systems that control the treatment process.
* Test and calibrate equipment and systems.
* Read and interpret technical documents.
* Use specialized process control software to record and analyze production data from the control room.
* Monitor readings and data from instruments.
* Consult with team members and leaders to resolve production or processing problems.
* Monitor product standards by examining samples of products.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose any problems or malfunctions with equipment.
General Duties:
* Conduct procedures and operations for commercial and nursery varieties.
* Organize routine plant maintenance.
