We are a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice seeking a Dental Assistant to join our established team. This role is ideal for someone looking for a long-term position and wishes to further their career working closely with a specialist Surgeon. Position starting early February.
The Role
You will provide surgical and chairside assistance & theatre assistance, help maintain clinical standards, and support the daily operation of the practice. Assistance at nearby private hospitals are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
* Preparing and maintaining treatment room
* Stock control and ordering of clinical supplies
* Supporting the surgeon during clinics
* Support of administrative staff when required, including phone handling and data entry
About You
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (essential)
* Previous oral surgery or implant assisting experience (ideal, not essential)
* Organised, reliable, and efficient
* Professional, friendly, and patient-focused
* Comfortable working independently in a small team
* Seeking a stable, long-term role
* Australian work rights are required for this position
