Plastering Supplies Tasmania is a locally owned supplier of plaster, insulation and building products servicing customers statewide. We're growing quickly and are seeking a highly customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Launceston team.
This is a role for someone who thrives on helping people – both in person and over the phone – while also bringing strong administrative capabilities and a proactive, can-do attitude. You'll also support the Manager with document creation, including workplace safety processes and any associated compliance tasks.
About You
Minimum 2 years' administrative experience
(essential)
Strong customer service skills — phone, email and face-to-face
Accurate and efficient with quoting, data entry and email management
Confident using computers (Microsoft Office essential)
Trade, building supply, or warehousing experience highly regarded
Reliable, organised and able to work both independently and in a small team
Not afraid to assist in the warehouse during busy periods
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
What You'll Be Doing
Providing exceptional customer service across counter, phone and email
Processing quotes, invoices, customer orders and EFTPOS payments
Preparing documents, forms and templates, including assisting the Manager with
workplace safety documentation and compliance setup
Coordinating deliveries and communicating with the warehouse team
Picking and packing orders during peak periods
Supporting stock control, stocktake and general inventory checks
Maintaining showroom presentation and general warehouse housekeeping
Escalating customer issues or product concerns when required
What You'll Need
At least 2 years' administrative experience
Full Australian working rights
Ability to complete manual handling tasks
Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Experience using
Accrivia or a similar inventory/order management system
Willingness to undergo police checks if required
