APS6 Qualitative Data Analyst

I have fantastic contract opportunities with a federal government client to support the qualitative analysis of public consultation which will soon commence relating to disability support.
In this role, you will be responsible for working across the full data cycle, from extracting to interpreting and presenting data insights that will be used to inform high level decision making.
Key responsibilities
Import and organise data into formats suitable for analysis - e.g. spreadsheets or qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo.
Code qualitative data, including generating codes and identifying themes.
Work collaboratively to ensure data is analysed rigorously and consistently.
Synthesise findings from consultation feedback.
Support data visualisation and reporting by creating summary documents/reports, charts and presentations to accurately reflect findings.
Key capabilities
Demonstrated experience in qualitative research methodologies.
Experience analysing qualitative evidence within health and/or disability research would be highly desirable.
Proficiency in thematic analysis and qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo or similar).
Understanding of sources of bias in qualitative analysis, and strategies to mitigate risk of biased interpretation and reporting of results.
Excellent analytical and high-level written communication skills to produce clear reporting of results.
