The Role:
You won't just be a \"back-room\" number cruncher. You’ll be working directly with clients to help them understand their financial health and plan for the future.
Your day-to-day will involve:
* Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
* Assisting with Business Activity Statements (BAS) and FBT returns.
* Providing cloud accounting support (Xero/MYOB) to help clients streamline their operations.
* Developing your skills in tax planning and business advisory under the mentorship of our Senior Partners.
* Building genuine relationships with Mackay’s local business community.
What You Bring:
* Education: Degree qualified and currently undertaking (or looking to start) your CA or CPA qualification.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Xero and common tax software.
* Communication: You can explain a P&L statement without making someone's eyes glaze over.
