Following its recent acquisition by a larger business, the company now operates within a broader national network, expanding its capability to deliver integrated people and site support services while maintaining its hands‐on, field-focused approach.
The Role
Given their recent growth trajectory, the business are looking to bring an additional Senior Payroll Officer on board who would assist the Team Leader and other existing Senior Payroll Officer as their workforce continues to grow and scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing weekly payroll for an operational workforce
* Interpretation of complex and varying awards/EBA's
* Handling complex payroll queries
* Ensuring accurate timesheet information is being recorded
* Providing support on reconciliations and other finance-related tasks
* Dealing with unions as and when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Hands-on experience in an end-to-end payroll processing role
* Experience interpreting varying EBA's/Awards
* Strong numerical skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset that is adept to dealing with difficult personalities at times
* Previous experience processing payroll within a unionised payroll environment advantageous but not essential
