Opportunities
Panel Prep Product Assembler
* Support the preparation and assembly of composite and aluminium cladding products within a busy workshop environment.
* Preparing composite and aluminium panels for cladding systems.
* Cutting, shaping and finishing materials using hand and power tools.
* Assisting with packing, dispatch and general workshop duties.
* Supporting tradespeople with assembly and installation tasks.
Machine Operator
* Operate specialised fabrication equipment in a fast‐paced production environment.
* Operating and adjusting workshop machinery including CNC machines, guillotines, press brakes, rollers and saws.
* Processing sheet metal and aluminium products to specification.
* Inspecting materials before and after processing.
* Assisting with material handling and maintaining workshop cleanliness.
Qualified Metal Tradesperson (Including Welders)
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical plans.
* Measuring and preparing metal stock including aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised iron, mild steel and copper.
* Welding and assembling components using MIG, TIG or ARC welding techniques.
* Operating fabrication equipment including press brakes, rollers and hand tools.
* Completing finishing work such as grinding, sanding and polishing.
* Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and compliance.
* Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trades assistants.
* Basic welding tickets in MIG, TIG or ARC welding are required.
What You'll Bring
* A trade qualification (or equivalent experience) in metal fabrication, welding or related trades.
* Minimum 3-5 years experience for non‐qualified applicants in fabrication or related industries.
* Or a genuine interest in commencing an Engineering Fabrication apprenticeship.
* Experience working in workshop or production environments.
* Confidence using hand and power tools.
* White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
* Forklift licence (desirable).
* Driver's licence and reliable transport.
* Physical capability to undertake repetitive lifting up to 25 kg.
* Strong work ethic, reliability and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to complete pre‐employment checks.
* Sponsorship opportunities are available for suitable candidates without existing Australian work authorisation.
