About the role
Jancode Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Concrete Labourer / Steel fixer / MR Truck Driver to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. As a Concrete Labourer / Steel fixer / MR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespeople in the preparation, set up, and pouring of concrete for a variety of construction projects.
A full driver's licence is required for this role.
If you have a MR / HR truck licence with experience in concrete, there is an immediate start
What you'll be doing
* Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up equipment
* Assisting in Concrete, Steel fixing & Formwork
* Pouring and smoothing concrete, using tools such as shovels, rakes, and vibrating equipment
* Cutting, drilling, and finishing concrete surfaces as directed
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Adhering to all health and safety protocols
* Valid Construction Induction (White Card) is required before start date
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Concrete Labourer or in a similar construction role
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Good physical fitness and stamina
* Familiarity with concrete and pouring equipment
* Commitment to safety and attention to detail
* HR or MR truck license immediate start available in the new year
