Qualifications & experience
* Diesel Mechanic qualification.
* Sound diesel servicing and diagnostic's knowledge and experience.
* Ability to document, record and track servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
* A proactive approach to regulate maintenance, servicing & repair.
* Current driver’s license
* Must be able to work unsupervised
* Hands on approach
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Tasks & responsibilities
* Regular servicing and maintenance – A, B and C services
* Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
* Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
* Ongoing maintenance and repairs of trucks and trailers
* Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles and equipment
* Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and effectively
* Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop
