Pharmacy Assistant (Dispensary Assistant)
We are seeking an honest, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our pharmacy team as a Dispensary Assistant. The successful applicant will have strong communication skills, a positive work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in dispensing prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner.
* Support the pharmacist in delivering pharmacy services.
* Assist with the day-to-day operations of the dispensary.
* Provide customers with complete solutions, including recommending beneficial add-on products where appropriate.
* Maintain efficient workflow with strong time management skills.
* Follow all pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with QCPP Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assist customers with over-the-counter medications and general pharmacy enquiries.
* Serve front-of-shop customers and operate the till when required.
* Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional manner with customers and team members.
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the business.
* Show a passion for retail pharmacy and customer care.

* Reliable and able to work as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Previous pharmacy or retail experience is desirable but not essential
