Retail Showroom Sales Assistant Manager
at Tile Wizards Australia, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in our dynamic retail environment. This full-time position is based in our Springwood, Queensland showroom, where you will be responsible for assisting the Showroom Manager in leading and motivating our passionate team of retail sales professionals.

who is confident in chasing sales opportunities across construction and development sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business prospects, and driving growth in the commercial sector.
What You'll Be Doing
Actively engage with customers, provide expert product knowledge and assistance to help them find the perfect tile solutions for their projects
Assist the Showroom Manager in setting sales targets, developing sales strategies and coaching the retail team to achieve outstanding results
Provide hands-on training and mentoring to the retail sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills
Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times by the retail team
Assist with inventory management, merchandising and visual presentations in the showroom
Support the Showroom Manager in administrative tasks and reporting as required
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
Identify and pursue sales opportunities within construction and development sites
Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, and project managers
Represent Tile Wizards in site visits, tenders, and commercial negotiations
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a retail sales or customer service role, preferably within the home improvement, design or construction industry
Minimum of 3+ years of retail sales experience is required
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Prior team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members
Exceptional product knowledge and the ability to provide expert advice and solutions to customers
Extensive existing knowledge of tile and building materials products is required from commencement
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive showroom environment
Enthusiasm for continuously learning and expanding your product and industry knowledge
Business Development Manager Qualifications
Demonstrated success in B2B sales, particularly in construction or development sectors
Confidence in cold calling, networking, and securing new business
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
