Job Description
This permanent, part-time role offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive.
Service Location
: Yarraville VIC, **** (Maternity leave cover until July ****).
Hours
: Split shifts Monday-Friday – BSC 6:30 am-9:00 am, ASC 3:00 pm-6:00 pm. Total hours: 27.5 per week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the service as Second in Charge, ensuring high-quality care and memorable experiences for children.
Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences tailored to children's preferences.
Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
Ensure program compliance with industry regulations.
Play and have fun with primary-school-aged children.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in before/after school care or education (training available).
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a team player with strong problem-solving skills.
Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
Energetic, enthusiastic and loves to have fun.
Relevant diploma (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
