Why This Role Stands Out: Technical variety and challenge – Lead electrical design across control systems, load flow studies, arc flash analysis, earthing design, and AutoCAD deliverables for diverse industries RPEQ opportunities – Supervise and sign off on electrical design work, with support to gain registration if you're working towards it Career progression – Growing team with genuine mentoring opportunities and involvement from concept through to commissioning and client support What You'll Be Doing: You'll be the go-to electrical expert – handling design deliverables including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, circuit breaker selectivity, arc flash studies, earthing design, device selection, IO lists, and BOMs. You'll draft and markup drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, develop internal standards, and ensure all work meets Australian Standards and client requirements. This isn't a desk-only role. You'll be involved in site inspections, FAT, SAT, fault finding, and working directly with clients on design decisions. You'll collaborate with Project Managers, Systems Engineers, and the sales team while mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions. What You Need (The Essentials): Degree in Engineering 5 years in industrial automation electrical design with proven delivery on large projects RPEQ registration Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider Electric control systems Technical leadership experience and enthusiasm for innovation Australian driver's licence and full working rights Desirable Skills: Lightning protection, HV protection, emergency lighting, or high-rise electrical design ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or PowerCAD experience What We Offer: Join a company built on Zero Harm, One Team, Excellence, Innovation, Integrity and Respect.
