We are currently seeking experienced Intermediate and Advanced Riggers to join our shutdown team, on a casual basis. These roles will be FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) from Perth, Western Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure that all rigging gear used is fit for purpose.
* Ensure all lifting operations comply with relevant high-risk work standards, procedures, and site safety protocols.
* Comply with instructions given by management and supervision.
* Store equipment safely and appropriately at the end of shift.
* Perform rigging duties as required, and in line with legislative requirements.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
* Currently living or residing in Western Australia
* Minimum of 2 years demonstrated crane rigging experience
* Australian Driver's Licence, current and valid
* High Risk Work Licence with RI or RA classes, as a minimum
* Working at Heights qualification (within 2 years of issue)
* White card
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
* Current inductions to Roy Hill and Rio Tinto are highly advantageous
