We are a leading international importer & distributor company offering a great opportunity for an enthusiastic junior purchasing officer. This role offers a dynamic work environment and plenty of scope.
This role will need to prepare import and export documentation, data entry, the creation of purchase orders and other administration duties when required.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will communicate closely with suppliers, buyers and shipping agents.
Key attributes include attention to detail, strong numerical skills, a willingness to learn, initiative and a high level of motivation. A strong emphasis is placed on customer service in this dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal & written English & Cantonese languages and computer knowledge are essential. Previous experience in an import and/or export environment is preferred, and the ability to work independently and with the team.
