About the role
Jim Pearson Transport is seeking HR & HC Drivers that are willing to upgrade to join our team in South Grafton, NSW. This is a full-time role within our growing road transport and logistics company.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely operate heavy vehicles such as semi-trailers & B-doubles to transport goods
2. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
3. Maintain accurate logbooks and other administrative paperwork
4. Provide exceptional customer service and on-time deliveries
5. Unload and load freight as required
6. Adhere to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
1. Valid HR/HC driver's licence with a clean driving record
2. New or in-experienced drivers looking for a start in the industry
3. Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety requirements
4. Excellent time management and organisational skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Good communication and customer service skills
7. Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
