KPMG's Delivery Confidence Practice is a market leader in Independent Project Assurance, helping senior government officials navigate complex delivery challenges and improve outcomes on major digital investments. We're expanding our team in Canberra and seeking talented individuals to join us as Managers and Senior Consultants.
Your Opportunity
As a Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead assurance engagements across some of the most significant government transformation programs in Australia. You'll work closely with Partners, Directors and senior stakeholders, guide and manage teams, and contribute to the growth of our practice. Draw on your experience in program/project management to advise and shape transformation delivery confidence.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the delivery of engagements and projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* Providing strategic, real-time advice to senior government officials on delivery risks and challenges.
* Managing stakeholder relationships and facilitating workshops to uncover insights and drive action.
* Coaching and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
* Supporting business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
* Managing engagement budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver on client expectations.
You will bring:
* Proven experience in program/project management and/or assurance, ideally in government or consulting environments.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present with impact.
* A strategic mindset and the ability to solve complex problems with commercial acumen.
* Experience managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Familiarity with delivery frameworks such as PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile (desirable).
* A passion for innovation and continually learning about emerging tech and AI.
