Deputy Director – Flood Restoration Portfolio Senior Leadership | Major Infrastructure Program

Our Client is delivering one of regional NSW's largest post‐disaster reconstruction programs, and we're seeking an experienced Deputy Director – Flood Restoration Portfolio (FRP) to lead delivery across a complex suite of major infrastructure projects.
All applicants must have relevant Australian or NZ experience and have the right to work in Australia.
This is initially a 6-month fixed term contract seconded to one of our clients organizations based in Lismore Northern New South Wales, Australia, but may lead to a long‐term role with a growing specialist engineering and project management consultancy based in Southeast Queensland managing projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The Role
* Lead client‐side delivery of major flood restoration projects
* Oversee planning, procurement, construction and close‐out
* Drive performance, safety, compliance and reporting
* Manage contractors, risks, variations and claims
* Support the Director in achieving portfolio‐wide outcomes
About You
* Extensive experience delivering major infrastructure projects (client‐side)
* Strong leadership in program or portfolio environments
* Advanced commercial, procurement and contract management capability
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement, especially in sensitive environments
* Deep understanding of governance, compliance and funding frameworks
* Strong project management, risk and problem‐solving capability
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar
* Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) desirable
* NSW Class C Driver Licence
* National Criminal History Check
