OEM-specific training and ongoing skills development Strong safety culture and well-structured maintenance systems Supportive leadership and experienced site teams Consistent workflow across a stable underground operation in N.QLD and Australia The Role Reporting to the field supervisor, you'll be working underground to support site operations through planned maintenance, breakdown support, and project work with key responsibilities including: Preventative and breakdown maintenance on underground mining equipment Component change-outs, fault finding, and system diagnostics Supporting commissioning, upgrades, and improvement works Working closely with site maintenance and operations teams Ensuring all work is completed safely and to OEM standards Equipment exposure: Underground drills, loaders, trucks, and ancillary equipment and more FIFO Roster & Hours This role offers flexible FIFO options to suit different lifestyles, with accommodation and travel fully arranged. 2:2 or 8:6 FIFO roster (days and nights) and 12-hour shifts FIFO from Brisbane (Townsville and Cairns also considered) Accommodation provided close by Opportunity to work in a well-established underground mining hub in North Queensland Your Skills & Experience This role will suit tradespeople with a solid mechanical background who are comfortable working underground and keen to develop specialist OEM skills.
