Job Description
The role of a Safety Specialist is to work collaboratively with the HSE Manager to develop and implement policies and guidelines that promote a positive safety culture. This includes enforcing compliance to in-house safety rules and regulations, conducting audits and inspections, and leading incident investigations.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing HSE training materials, organizing regular safety training sessions, and collaborating with management to identify safety-related issues.
* Develop and enhance HSE policies and guidelines
* Enforce and ensure compliance to in-house safety rules and regulations
* Conduct briefings on safety related incidents or case studies
* Conduct and support HSE audits/inspections
* Lead incident investigation and determine Root Cause Analysis and CAPA

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
* At least 5-7 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of Process Safety and ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 EHS Management System
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under minimal supervision
