Senior Cyber and Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber and Software Engineer to join our Land C4 Sovereign Capability team. This role is responsible for ensuring the cyber worthiness of Land C4 Mission Systems and developing core features that manage and control the data plane of deployed communication networks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cyber Worthiness: Ensure Mission Systems are security accredited and operationally supported through ongoing management of accreditation documentation and reporting.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the customer and business support teams to ensure security protection needs are implemented, system maintenance requirements are met, and incident response requirements are managed.
* Software Development: Develop and maintain software components within an Agile, Systems Engineering-based environment.
* Innovation: Product improvement through innovation.
* Requirements Analysis: Develop low-level requirements, design and verification procedures.
* System Performance: Improve system performance through analysis, review & defect fixing.
* Security Leadership: Contribute to and lead security discussion at customer workshops and technical reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive Experience: Extensive experience in Software Engineering.
* Cyber Security: Minimum 2+ years cyber security experience.
* Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent.
* Development Skills: Proven development skills within the following areas: Object-oriented Development (Java/C#), Networking protocols (e.g. ICMP, RIP, PIM), Secure network & encryption standards (SSL/TLS, AES/SHA), Some experience in frontend or backend web development (e.g. React, C#.NET).
* Networking Technologies: Experience with network security and networking technologies with system, security and network monitoring tools.
* ISM and DSPF: Practical implementation of ISM and DSPF requirements, ICT or Cyber Industry Training and/or demonstrable knowledge.
