Responsibilities
- Involved in the analysis, design and development of C# applications in a Front Office trading environment.
- Build proprietary tools that analyse newsfeeds, data feeds, visualise reporting, trade monitoring and messaging to help support trading decisions.
- Work on a full stack with a heavy focus on backend C#, with exposure to frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.
- End-to-end collaboration with different business units, traders, researchers to gather requirements and solve problems.
- Develop web scraping/server technologies that deploy new services, analyze logs, improve scraping speed and build accessible interfaces.
Skills and Qualifications
- You have experience developing web applications with C# and related technologies (.NET).
- Experience with design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, and UI development on both client and server sides.
- Previous WPF experience or working on other desktop applications is an advantage.
- Previous web scraping or web server application development experience would be awesome.
- Understanding of web technologies, HTML and JavaScript - React etc.
- Previous experience running and deploying .NET Core applications on Linux.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with other members of the team daily.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
Details
This is a permanent full-time position paying a salary between $150,000 - $180,000 + super + bonus. The role is based in Barangaroo and it\'s based in the office.
