AMC Search is the Training and Consultancy arm of the Australian Maritime College. Based in Launceston Tasmania, AMC Search serves the Australian and international maritime and defence industries. Utilising the Australian Maritime College's suite of maritime research, training and project resources, AMC Search can provide access to the largest range of facilities available in the southern hemisphere. These are supported by the personnel resources of Australia's national maritime training, education and research institute.
We are seeking aneLearning Developerto join the Training Department to assist in developing online eLearning courses. The role involves working with subject matter experts to gather materials and develop interactive content to create learning packages. The role is initially offered as a twelve-month fixed-term contract with the option to extend.
Tasks
* Work with the team to write storyboards
* Develop storyboards into interactive and engaging online modules using Articulate 360
* Identify resources to build online material through visual design and multimedia assets
* Provide expertise in the use of new and existing learning technologies
About You
* Bachelor of Information, Communication and Technologies or relevant experience
* Experience in 3D animations software (Blender or Unity is preferred)
* Familiarity with Articulate 360 and proficient working with Articulate Storyline or similar software
* Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud suite
* Demonstrated excellence in communicating with staff and students with a range of technical understanding and experience
* Experience using learning design technologies to develop innovative, interactive learning content
* Experienced in creating high-quality resources for use in online courses which comply with guidelines on web accessibility and copyright
* Enjoy supporting trainers and staff in the effective use of online learning resources
* Excellent attention to detail and a focus on achieving outcomes
* Familiarity with course design and digital learning principles
* Excellent time management and planning skills
* A positive and motivated attitude
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
