Financial operations manager

Offer description

A senior financial leader is sought to drive strategic insights and spearhead the finance function. The role involves overseeing accounting, payroll, and accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of all financial data.


Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and mentor a small finance team, building a collaborative and high-performing culture.
* Deliver accurate and timely financial reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.
* Own the month-end close process, including reconciliations and journals.
* Partner with senior leadership on annual budgets, forecasts, and cost allocation.
* Review and optimize labor and equipment sell rates to ensure profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' accounting experience, including leadership roles, and a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business. A CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded, but not essential. Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and strong Excel skills are also desirable.
