Role Overview
Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Full‐Time Custodian to join our team in Alice Springs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive, community‐driven environment and is looking for a healthy work‐life balance.
Responsibilities
* Conduct assigned site custodial tasks in the Ops Building, Tech, and Support areas.
* Conduct laundry facilities duties for TQs.
* Polish floors and steam clean carpets using the appropriate custodial equipment.
* Ensure highly rated customer service is provided to all customers.
* Dust and remove cobwebs.
* Remove rubbish from TQs, Ops Building, Tech, and Support areas.
* Maintain necessary supplies in TQs, Ops Building, Tech, and Support areas.
* Maintain and store inventory of all supplies for custodial staff.
* Ensure and maintain health and safety practices and compliance at the site and within the workplace.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
Typical office setting with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kg independently, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.
Minimum Requirements
* 3 to 5 years' experience in Hospitality/Industrial Custodial industry.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certificate in Health Support Services.
* Certificate in Hospitality.
* Field: Hospitality.
* Undergraduate Degree in Hospitality (desirable).
Security Clearance
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
Compensation
USD 30,000–40,000 per year (may vary based on experience, education, skills, and market data).
