Our groundbreaking flagship Social Wellness Club is set to open in May ****, and will feature an 'all day concept' with a full state-of-the-art gym, group exercise classes, reformer pilates, cold plunge, sauna and spa. It will also feature the latest innovation and services, including recovery zones, sound bath, business lounge, co-working spaces, health food café, personal trainers, instructors, nutritionists and other health professionals.
As a member of the club leadership team and reporting to the Club General Manager, you'll lead and develop the exercise experience team to achieve personal training targets and deliver world class exercise experiences. You'll oversee club exercise operations and commercial performance. This is a parental leave cover from January ****.
In a nutshell -
You'll oversee the entire club exercise product range including gym floor, personal training and group exercise to maximise the exercise experience for members
You'll work to achieve penetration results and operate within agreed expense budgets, with accountability for overall performance and commercial success
You'll ensure engagement levels and service quality of exercise experience are met for our members
You'll recruit, coach, develop and motivate the exercise experience team to achieve agreed targets
You'll advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and team members
You'll oversee PT and group exercise admin to ensure seamless booking, payment and validation
You'll work with other departmental leaders to assess, monitor and improve the exercise experience and support the team
All about you
You have 2+ years of relevant leadership experience, your Cert IV in fitness, your first aid and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule. You may also have studied exercise science. A+ for you
You know how to lead a team to deliver meaningful exercise experiences and thrive on exceeding performance targets. You're confident and cool under pressure.
You're people focused. You're authentic. You get a kick out of getting people to those I did it moments. You're comfortable connecting with members and thrive on building true community.
You're driven. You love motivating others. You leverage your life experience and charismatic personality to help trainers build their sessions and be the best they can be.
You're comfortable managing your own time and can be counted on to reach targets.
