Aged Care Support Worker, Community Services

Up to $34.01 p.h. + 12% Super + Salary Packaging

Community Support Worker | Permanent Part-Time | Tweed Heads, NSW

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? We're seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team in a permanent part-time role, supporting clients across the Tweed Region, covering Tweed to Murwillumbah and surrounding suburbs.

A Day in the Life

* Personal Care - Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, eating, and safe transfers
* Domestic Assistance - Helping with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light gardening
* Social Support - Providing companionship and encouraging engagement through conversation and activities
* Transportation - Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and community access

What You Bring

* Previous experience in community or aged care support (including domestic duties)
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care (with transcripts)
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
* Current driver's licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
* Willingness to travel up to 45 - 60 minutes
* Full COVID-19 vaccination highly desirable
* Minimum 20-30 hours per fortnight, with potential to increase after probation
* Availability to start shifts from 7:00 AM on weekdays
* Ideally available 3-4 weekdays, including Fridays
* Alternating weekend availability highly desirable
* Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and provide proof of work rights in Australia
