Our company is a trusted name in civil road construction across Far North Queensland. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Contractor Quality Representative (CQR) to help us deliver excellence from tender to handover.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems, ensuring compliance with TMR specifications, and maintaining rigorous documentation and testing standards across our projects. Proficiency with CivilPro software is essential to streamline quality assurance and project controls.
DIDO position
The position is based approximately 250 km from Townsville and is available as a DIDO role. Our preferred roster is 10 days on 4 days off. However, we are open to discussing alternative roster arrangements for the right candidate. Accommodation and transport will be provided. Either meals or LAFHA payment in lieu is provided on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and implement project-specific Quality Management Plan
* Assure that the quality of work meets or exceeds the project’s contractual requirements
* Coordinate, supervise and document construction inspection and testing services
* Ensure materials meet or exceed contract specifications
* Ensure that progress- and subcontract claims are completed on time and accurately
* Prepare project quality close-out documentation
* Promote environmental protection and uphold WHS standards
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience working on TMR projects in a similar role
* Strong understanding of civil construction quality control, particularly in roadworks
* Familiarity with TMR specifications and documentation standards
* Demonstrated proficiency with CivilPro software for quality assurance and project controls
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
