Logistics Operations Specialist
We are seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to manage returned goods and support warehouse operations. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient processing, inspection, and documentation of stock while contributing to waste reduction and recovery efforts.
* Manage receipt, inspection, and processing of returned and damaged goods.
* Track and document returned stock accurately.
* Identify opportunities to recycle or repurpose items.
* Assess goods for defects, refurbishment, or disposal.
* Follow established procedures and safety regulations.
* Coordinate with warehouse teams to streamline processes.
* Maintain records of stock movements and resolutions.
* Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and recovery.
* Work with suppliers, transport teams, and internal stakeholders.
* Support general warehouse tasks as needed.
About You
We are looking for an experienced warehouse professional with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in logistics.
* Strong attention to detail for assessing and processing returned stock.
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
* Understanding of inventory management and stock documentation.
* Physically fit for manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
* Forklift license (current).
