We are seeking 2 Crane Technicians to join our dynamic team supporting critical operations across various mining and resources projects in Central Queensland. This role offers excellent earning potential, a structured FIFO/DIDO roster (3:1 or 2:1), and the chance to work with leading crane technology.

About the Role: As a Crane Technician, you will be primarily responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and servicing of a diverse fleet of cranes, predominantly Grove, Liebherr, FRanna, Tadano, Kobelco, Manitowoc models. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our equipment, contributing directly to the efficiency of site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on cranes.
* Perform preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, and critical repairs in adherence to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
* Maintain accurate technical information and records, including creating detailed job cards for all work performed.
* Manage and maintain appropriate stock levels of spare parts, oils, and consumables.
* Schedule and coordinate repairs and servicing activities efficiently to minimize downtime.
* Ensure all work is conducted in strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
* Collaborate effectively with site personnel and other team members.
Requirements:
* Recognised Trade Qualification in Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics, transport trailers, Earthmoving equipment or similar.
* Good experience with heavy vehicles maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs.
* A strong understanding and adherence to WHS practices and procedures.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol screening.
What is being offered:
* Compensation: $5500-7000 per week on 12h/day (depending on the experience and hours) + superannuation
* Tools allowance and FIFO allowance
* Meals provided
* Roster Flexibility: Primarily 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster with potential for 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
* FIFO/DIDO Options: FIFO: Flights provided from Townsville and Brisbane. DIDO: Daily commute from Mackay and close-by areas.
